Having a pet with chronic itch or a skin, ear, nail or coat condition can be overwhelming. We can help.
Dermatology Consultations
-
Our Initial dermatology appointments are perfect for chronic, recurrent or severe skin problems. We set aside 1 hour so we can get to the bottom of your pet’s itch, skin or ear problems and create a treatment plan that works for you and your pet.
Before your appointment we may ask you to complete a pre-visit questionnaire, and where available, we will review your pet’s previous veterinary history and any test results.
In-house skin or ear cytology, skin scrapes, hair plucks and Wood’s lamp examination will be performed as needed and are included in consultation fee.
-
A 30 minute appointment for follow-ups and short dermatology consultations.
-
Telephone or online appointment.
Telemedicine - Consultation for patients seen by Dr Gillian at Canberra Veterinary Dermatology within the past 6 months. (Please note that an in-person consultation is always preferable as some presentations cannot be accurately diagnosed or treated by telemedicine)
Teletriage - For general veterinary dermatology advice (preliminary assessment only - no patient-specific diagnostic or treatment advice).
Online booking is available or contact us directly by phone or email.
